Installing Zippers 3 Ways

Learn to install a regular, lapped, and invisible zipper. Materials provided for three example pieces. Class is ages 14+. Class registration closes 24hrs prior to class time.
In this class, you will learn how to insert a regular centered, lapped, and invisible zipper. If you can sew a straight stitch, you can insert a zipper!
Attendees can bring their own sewing machines, or sewing machine rental will be available (Brother CS7000x Computerized sewing and quilting machines) for an extra $10.

-Speed and fabric control
-Changing sewing feet
-Straight stitch
Materials Included in Class Cost:
-Fabric example pieces. 3 sets per attendee
-Zippers for 3 example pieces
-Instruction packet curated for zipper installations taught in class
Materials for Attendees to Bring to Class:
-Clear ruler at least 6 inches long (we have options available online or bring your own!)
-If bringing your own machine:
2. Neutral polyester thread and bobbin. One color works!
3. Needle rated for cotton. 80/12 works!
The studio will have seam rippers, pins, clips, scissors, and irons available for use during class.
Class is for ages 14+.
