DuBarry Patterns
The DuBarry pattern company was a line of affordable sewing patterns, manufactured by the Simplicity Pattern Company for F. W. Woolworth Company from 1931 to 1947. These patterns were unprinted during their early years, featuring perforations for cutting lines and notches, but were later switched to printed patterns, costing about 10 cents. DuBarry patterns were known for being easy to sew and catered to a young, budget-conscious audience, offering stylish designs for teenagers and young women.
