Marian Martin Patterns
Marian Martin patterns originated in the 1930s as mail-order patterns sold through newspapers, designed for home sewers and often marketed to rural customers. They were part of a larger family of brands, including Anne Adams, that were all owned by the same parent company, Reader Mail, Inc., and later became part of Hearst Patterns before being sold to Simplicity in 1980. The brand continued selling patterns until it folded in the 1980s.
