Easy Does It Bag Class

This handy zippered bag with attached handles will store and carry all of your essentials. The bags also make quick, easy, and useful gifts!

We would call this an intermediate level class due to the bias binding and sewing curves. This class is for ages 16+. Need 3 students to run class! We will reach out if the student requirement is not met. Please be sure to watch for emails and social media posts!

This class will have two sessions at 2.5hrs each. Attendance is required for both sessions. 5 hours is scheduled for class, but we may not need the full time in class 2.

Sept 28th: 6p-8:30p - Registration for this date also includes the 2nd class below :)
Oct 5th: 6p-8:30p

Attendees can bring their own sewing machines, or sewing machine rental will be available (Brother CS7000x Computerized sewing and quilting machines) for an extra $10 (this will include the machine + materials for the machine needed in class). Class for ages 16+.

Sewing Skills to be successful in this class:
-Speed and fabric control
-Quilting
-Sewing curves
-Sewing bias binding
-Sewing zippers
-Patience (this is a bit fiddly!)

Materials Included in Class Cost:
-3 fat quarters
-Zipper tape and pull
-Soft and Stable Foam
-Interfacing
-Paper Pattern

If Bringing Your Own Machine:
1. Regular sewing foot, monogram foot, zipper foot, stitch in the ditch foot(if you have one)
2. White polyester thread and bobbin
3. 90/14 Universal Needle

The studio will have seam rippers, pins, clips, scissors, rulers, and irons available for use during class.  

All attendees are required to abide by the Class Policy
