Foundation Paper Piecing - Heart Block

Learn to foundation paper piece! Foundation paper piecing (FPP) is a quilting technique that uses a removable paper template to guide sewing! This beginner-friendly class will teach the basics of foundation paper piecing as we work on a heart block. Pattern templates and scrap materials are included in the cost of the class.
This class will have two sessions. Attendance is required for the first session. The second session will be scheduled overage time and is optional.
Session 1 (required): Jan 20th 6:30p-8p
Session 2 (if needed): Jan 27th 6:30p-7:30p
Attendees can bring their own sewing machines, or sewing machine rental will be available (Brother CS7000x Computerized sewing and quilting machines) for an extra $10 (this will include the machine + materials for the machine needed in class). Rental requires a prior attendance to the Intro to Sewing Machines class. Class for ages 15+.

Materials for Attendees to Bring to Class:
-Clear ruler with quarter-inch markings at least 6in long. Check out our ruler selection online if you do not have one (they are a great investment)!
-If bringing your own machine:
1. Standard presser foot (open toe)
2. Neutral polyester thread and bobbin. White or pink will match our scrap fabrics.
3. Needle rated for cotton
The studio will have seam rippers, pins, clips, scissors, and irons available for use during class.
All attendees are required to abide by the Class Policy
