Intro to Domestic Machine Quilting

This class is an introduction to quilting on your domestic machine. We'll create 4 samples in class for practice that you can take home. Ages 16+.

Will not cover free motion quilting in this class.

Attendees can bring their own sewing machines, or sewing machine rental will be available (Brother CS7000x Computerized sewing and quilting machines) for an extra $10.

Sewing Skills to be successful in this class:
-Speed and fabric control
-Straight stitch
-Threading a needle
-Winding and installing a bobbin
-Handling multiple layers of fabric

Fabric and batting for 4 samples are included in the cost of class.

Personal Machine Usage - You will need:
-Thread (any color is fine)
-80/12 needle
-Wound Bobbin for your machine
-Walking foot for your machine

Included in Studio Machine Rental:
-Thread for machine
-Needle for machine
-Walking foot

Attendee tool(s) to bring:

-Clear quilting ruler at least 6in long

The studio will have pins, clips, scissors, and marking tools available for use during class. Please bring your own rotary cutters or clear rulers, if desired.

All attendees are required to abide by the Class Policy
