Kids Beginner Workshop (Ages 9-15)
Couldn't load pickup availability
The Beginner Workshop is a pre-requisite to the Sewciety Kids' After-School Program (ages 9-15). Parent/guardian attendance not required.
In this Beginner Workshop, kids will learn how to use a sewing machine. They'll learn sewing machine basics, including: how to wind a bobbin, thread the machine and how to sew straight, even seams. Students will also complete a project to take home in this workshop. This is a great class to determine if students are interested in pursing sewing. All materials included!
A signed release of liability is required for class.
The After-School Program registration will open to Beginner Workshop attendees at the end of the workshop. We are only opening 4 program seats at this time (2 seats required to run session). Sign ups for the program will open after the second beginner workshop on a first come, first serve basis.
Attendance is only required for one of the two workshop dates offered:
Aug 4 from 3:30-5:30p [registration closes 7/28]
Aug 6 from 3:30-5:30p [registration closes 7/30]
All attendees are required to abide by the Class Policy
Facilities Note - There is ramp access in rear of the building. Restrooms, however, are in the lower level accessible only by stairs. If accessibility is a concern, please reach out to connect@madfabrics-studio.com.
