Kids Beginner Workshop (Ages 9-15)

The Beginner Workshop is a pre-requisite to the Sewciety Kids' After-School Program (ages 9-15). Parent/guardian attendance not required for class. A signed release of liability is required for this class. 

In this Beginner Workshop, kids will learn how to use a sewing machine. They'll learn sewing machine basics, including: how to wind a bobbin, thread the machine and how to sew straight, even seams. Students will also complete a project to take home in this workshop. This is a great class to determine if students are interested in pursing sewing. All materials included!

The After-School Program registration will open to Beginner Workshop attendees at the end of the workshop. We are only opening 4 program seats at this time (2 seats required to run session). Sign ups for the program will open after beginner workshop on a first come, first serve basis.

Attendance is required for the session below if interested in Level 1 Unit 1 Course:

All attendees are required to abide by the Class Policy
